Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m Daesse Grimes, a twenty three year old writer and grad student from the sweet clean streets of small town Connecticut. Last year I earned my bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and am returning to school this fall to pursue my MFA in Fiction.

I love to hula hoop and craft although I’m much better at the former than the latter. My dream world is one where I am ceaselessly romping through meadows or splashing away at the beach; I am trying to convince my friends I am a woodland elf.

I’d love for the things I have to say to change someone’s life one day, and the only way that can happen

is for me to take the first step, and you, hopefully, to follow along.
